Bowdoin campus
Image View Description: Pencil drawing of the Bowdoin campus in the scrapbook of Arlo Bates (Class of 1876). Handwritten note on the scrapbook page explains that the drawing was done some twenty years previously by an unknown artist, and rescued by Arlo Bates from the dormitory trash. The drawing appears to be based on "Bowdoin Campus," ca. 1822, oil on canvas, by John G. Brown.
