Title
Japanese Aerial Photo
Image View Description: "Our Sea Eagles' determined attack had already opened, and a column of water from a direct torpedo hit on a Maryland class is rising. On the surface of the water, concentric waves are traced by the direct torpedo hits, while murky crude oil flows out. The three bright white streaks between the waves are the torpedo tracks. In the distance the conflagration at the Hickam Field Hangars is seen." The above caption and Japanese aerial photograph were sent to neutral countried for porpoganda purposes. This photograph is part of a series of photographs from the U.S. Senate investigation of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, 7 Dec. 1941.
